■ Background of the Event

With the '2030 Problem' approaching, characterized by an aging population and declining birthrate, and a predicted labor shortage of 6.44 million people, educational institutions are also facing a clear shortage of personnel. Furthermore, due to the declining birthrate, the admission rates for high schools and universities have decreased, leading to a decline in students' motivation to learn and a diversification of high school and university entrance examination formats.



Accompanying these changes in the external environment, the education industry is also undergoing a major turning point. From education-related ministries and agencies to educational institutions such as cram schools, preparatory schools, and regular schools, there is a demand to flexibly adapt to new business models, the utilization of technology, and changes in educational needs, in order to continue providing educational services to children now and in the future.



Studyplus has been implementing the 'Studyplus for School Award' since 2017, an initiative to recognize educational institutions that, despite facing various management challenges, explore and practice future education utilizing ICT. This year, as the 'Studyplus for School Award 2026,' we will honor a total of 71 corporations/institutions and 151 classrooms.
