TV Anime "Watashi o Tabetai, Hitodenashi" Announces Collaboration with Ehime's Largest Fireworks Festival, "Iyo Sai Matsuri"

The TV anime "Watashi o Tabetai, Hitodenashi," which aired from October to December last year to great acclaim and is currently serialized in Dengeki Maoh and Kadocomi, has announced a collaboration.

During the "Watatabe Talk Session! x Sae Nekawa Live Drawing" stage event at Machi★Asobi vol. 30, information was released about a partnership with the "Iyo Sai Matsuri." This is one of Ehime Prefecture's largest fireworks festivals, held annually in Iyo City—the setting of the series—and continues the collaboration from last year.

As the first part of the announcement, a collaboration visual newly drawn by character designer Ikuo Yamakado has been unveiled.

The visual features Hinako turning back and reaching out her hand, with the brilliant fireworks of the Iyo Sai Matsuri blooming in the background.

This collaboration visual will also be featured on this year's Iyo Sai Matsuri posters, which will be displayed in various locations throughout Iyo City.

The event plans to include broadcasts of specially recorded character voice announcements for the fireworks festival, as well as merchandise sales.

*Fireworks display is on Sunday, the 26th, from 8:00 PM (approx. 10,000 shells planned)
- **Location:** Iyo Port Wharf, Iyo City Nadacho Shopping Street area, etc.

The venue is known for the close proximity between the spectator areas and the launch site, which utilizes two breakwaters. The venue, stretching about 350 meters, is filled with beautiful, large-scale fireworks. A highlight is the "Golden Willow Special Star Mine," which takes advantage of the vast seaside location. The "underwater fireworks," which bloom to a diameter of about 120 meters, are also a must-see.
