Background and Purpose of the Capital and Business Alliance

In regional and small and medium-sized enterprises that support Japanese industry, issues such as labor shortages and business succession are becoming serious. To overcome these challenges and maintain sustainable competitiveness, it is urgent to not only introduce IT tools but also to utilize that data for management strategies through 'data-driven management' and to redefine business processes based on AI. However, for many SMEs, 'strategic utilization after IT introduction' remains the highest hurdle.

For many years, Technoart has been close to SMEs, supporting the digitization of all activities on-site through production management systems and IoT solutions. On the other hand, the Company is a professional that directly supports from the visualization of on-site data to strategy formulation and autonomous business transformation utilizing AI.

Through this capital and business alliance, by combining the strengths of both companies, we have established a system to powerfully promote 'the completion of transformation' beyond tool introduction.

Three Synergies to Be Created (Details of Initiatives)

Through this alliance, the following three synergies will be created to realize advanced management for SMEs.

(1) Vertical integration that transforms 'on-site execution data' into 'management decision-making'

By combining the Company's strategy and data platform infrastructure with all on-site activities digitized by Technoart's production management systems and IoT solutions, disparate on-site data will be elevated to a 'management weapon'.

Building a strategic data utilization platform: Consolidate vast IT/OT data into a data platform. This goes beyond mere 'on-site visualization' to build the foundation for 'data-driven management' linked to company-wide KPIs and management indicators.

Advanced management decisions through AI: By applying AI to all consolidated data, AI will objectively navigate decisions such as investment timing, risk prediction, and profit maximization scenarios, which previously relied on the 'intuition' of experienced managers.

(2) Providing end-to-end 'accompanying support for transformation' to regional and small and medium-sized enterprises

By combining Technoart's 'solutions that support the field' with the Company's 'strategy formulation that guides management', we will establish an accompanying support system that fills the gap of 'strategic utilization after IT introduction', which is the most challenging aspect for SMEs.

Completion of 'transformation' beyond 'tool introduction': For companies considering or implementing Technoart's systems, the Company will provide support from upstream strategy formulation on 'how to utilize that data for management strategies'. This will reliably link on-site digitization to improved profits and corporate value.

End-to-end support specialized for regional challenges: By teaming up Technoart, which has a deep understanding of SME sites, and the Company, which is a professional in management transformation, we will provide seamless support from the field to management for challenges unique to regional areas.

(3) Cultural transformation to a data-driven organization

Because Technoart's solutions provide an environment where data is generated, by injecting the Company's methods, it is possible to rewrite the 'management OS' of the entire organization.

From 'intuition and experience' to an organization that 'dialogues with data': As on-site IT/OT data becomes visible as a management agenda through the Company's transformation platform, all employees will discuss based on the same data and establish a 'data-driven' organizational culture that autonomously repeats improvements.

Comments from Representatives

Comment from Koji Yamazaki, Representative Director & President of Technoart Co., Ltd.

While Japanese manufacturing industries possess a wealth of data assets, their utilization has been limited to on-site improvements, and cases where they are sufficiently utilized for management decisions and business growth are still limited.
INDUSTRIAL-X's outstanding strategy formulation know-how regarding 'data-driven management' and 'AI implementation' will strongly support our customers in promoting DX and realizing management transformation.
