INDUSTRIAL-X Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomonori Yako; hereinafter 'the Company'), which supports corporate transformation through data-driven management, is pleased to announce its collaboration with Senju Sprinkler Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masaaki Ueno; hereinafter 'Senju Sprinkler'), the top domestic manufacturer of fire sprinklers, to realize a 'Next-Generation Sprinkler DX Factory for Digital Twins' at their Marumori Plant (Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture).

Background of the Initiative

In 2025, Senju Sprinkler refreshed its corporate logo to clarify its commitment to enhancing brand value and technological innovation. In line with this, the company is introducing the concept of a 'Digital Twin'—synchronizing the physical and digital worlds to create a better future—to improve factory productivity. Under the concept of 'SP-X' (Sprinkler Transformation), the company is actively pursuing DX (Digital Transformation) and SX (Sustainable Transformation).

Since July 2025, Senju Sprinkler and our company have been working together to transition from 'human-based know-how'—relying on intuition, tips, and experience, which have long been prioritized at the Marumori Plant—to 'data-driven knowledge' that utilizes accumulated data, AI analysis, and simulations.

On March 26, we held a 'Factory DX Presentation' at the Marumori Plant, attended by Ichinoseki Mayor Yoshihito Sato and members of the media, to introduce our progress and provide a tour of the factory floor.

Key Aspects of the Joint Project

  1. Visualization of Operations via Digital Platform: We have built a data platform at the Marumori Plant that integrates and visualizes human work patterns and equipment operating data. This enables the confirmation of operational efficiency and data-based analysis, as well as real-time, performance-based cost management.
  2. Innovation Toward 'Smart Working': By utilizing tablets and integrating data across multiple systems, we are transforming site operations that previously relied heavily on paper forms. Through this, we aim to dispel the '3K' (difficult, dirty, dangerous) image of manufacturing and create an attractive workplace where young talent can thrive.
  3. Realization of Advanced Production Management and Future Forecasting: Moving forward, we plan to expand the functionality of the data platform to establish a company-wide data foundation and KPI dashboard. We aim to build an end-to-end system covering everything from SKU-level order management to production, inventory control, high-precision cost management, and AI-driven forecasting, continuing our efforts toward the realization of a next-generation factory.
