Yama-to-Keikoku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hirofumi Ninomiya), which operates media businesses in the mountain and nature sectors under the Impress Group, will begin sales of the "Search and Rescue Expense Insurance: Mountaineering Group Plan" on Wednesday, April 1st, following the existing "Yama-to-Keikoku Mountaineering Insurance." This insurance is based on the official "Search and Rescue Expense Insurance" policy with an added special clause for the issuance of collective insurance certificates (Underwriter: ABC Small Amount & Short Term Insurance Co., Ltd.). Yama-to-Keikoku Co., Ltd. will act as the soliciting agent.

The "Search and Rescue Expense Insurance: Mountaineering Group Plan" allows mountaineering groups or clubs with five or more members to apply with a representative acting as the policyholder.

Features of the 'Search and Rescue Expense Insurance: Mountaineering Group Plan'

1. Full coverage for search and rescue costs, including primary rescue and secondary search, up to 3 million yen per person.
2. A flat payment of 50,000 yen per person for family travel expenses or medical costs, even if no search and rescue expenses are incurred.
3. Groups of five or more can apply collectively through a representative.
4. Annual premiums are 3,500 yen per person for groups of 5–9, and 3,200 yen per person for groups of 10 or more.
5. Coverage extends beyond non-snowy season hiking to various domestic outdoor activities, including alpine climbing, rock climbing, snow mountaineering, backcountry skiing, and trail running (Note: Marine accidents are excluded).
6. Coverage includes distress caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
