Kumano City, Mie Prefecture and Imacrea Launch 5th Year of 'Regional Digital Talent' Development

Imacrea Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shingo Suzuki), which operates outsourcing businesses utilizing telework, has been commissioned by Kumano City, Mie Prefecture, for the 'Teleworker Development Project' for the 2026 fiscal year. This marks the fifth consecutive year the company has been awarded this project since 2022. This year, the company will further expand the 'Generative AI Utilization Course,' which recorded high satisfaction rates last year. By providing practical AI implementation support not only to local residents but also to employees of local businesses, the company aims to resolve the deepening labor shortage and contribute to the sustainable development of the regional economy. Over the past four years, Imacrea has provided end-to-end support in Kumano City, from training teleworkers to assisting with employment. This year, building on past achievements, the scope will be expanded to include 'employees working at local businesses within the city.' Through skill-up seminars for workers, the project will foster talent capable of handling a wide range of tasks, realize flexible working styles including side jobs, and strongly support the resolution of regional labor shortages and new challenges. The 2026 project consists of three pillars directly linked to practical work: 1. Career Rediscovery Workshop, 2. Generative AI Utilization Course, and 3. Contact Center Course. After completing the seminars, the company provides interested individuals with opportunities to register as Imacrea teleworkers and gain practical experience through outsourcing contracts. Imacrea's digital talent development service is a practical program that goes beyond mere IT skill acquisition to foster leaders who support the regional economy. It features expert-led career counseling, a generative AI curriculum, and immediate-readiness training based on practical work.
