Ikeda-ya Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, President: Kazuhisa Nagaoka, hereinafter Ikeda-ya) and KCJ GROUP Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Michinari TSUBUYAKI, hereinafter KCJ GROUP), which plans and operates the children's vocational and social experience facility "KidZania," will open a limited-time "Randoseru Kobo" (School Bag Workshop) pavilion (hereinafter, "this Pavilion") at "KidZania Fukuoka" (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture) from Saturday, May 2, 2026, to Wednesday, May 6, 2026 (public holiday). This will be the first time this pavilion is held at KidZania Fukuoka. The annual "Randoseru Kobo" at KidZania Koshien will appear at KidZania Fukuoka for a limited time during Golden Week. In this Pavilion, children will become "Randoseru Craftsmen," learning about the history, technology, and passion of Japanese craftsmanship put into randoseru, and will make a mini randoseru approximately 1/10th the size of a real one, using the same tools as craftsmen. Children who experienced it at KidZania Koshien have commented, "Through the experience, I was able to connect with the feelings of the craftsmen," and "I decided to cherish my own randoseru more."
