This is the Iide Town Hall, located in the southern part of Yamagata Prefecture. We conduct PR for tourism and local town products. We produce 40% of Yonezawa Beef, one of the three major Wagyu beefs in Japan. We are a rice-producing region known for brands like Tsuyahime and Haenuki. As a heavy snowfall area, over 9,000 foreign tourists visit our snow parks annually. The Submerged Forest of Lake Shirakawa, the most popular tourist destination in our town, has won the Sports Culture Tourism Award 2024!
