(Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hiroshi Miyagawa) is pleased to announce the 'RBB SPEED AWARD 2025,' which recognizes internet services that achieved the fastest actual measured speeds based on one year of data from the web and app versions of the 'RBB SPEED TEST' internet speed measurement service.
The 'RBB SPEED AWARD 2025' tabulates data from the 'RBB SPEED TEST' provided on the RBB TODAY website (Total measurements: 49,685) and the app version of 'RBB SPEED TEST' (Total measurements: 1,379,275), and honors services with the fastest average actual measured values (download speed) in each category.
In the fixed-line category, NTT East's 'FLET'S Hikari Cross (up to 10Gbps) Detached House' took first place overall. In the Wi-Fi category, KDDI's 'au Hikari Home 5 Giga' was the top performer.
In the detached house service category (Wi-Fi), KDDI's 'au Hikari Home 5 Giga' ranked first, and for multi-dwelling units (Wi-Fi), 'NURO Hikari 10 Giga (for condominiums)' took first place.
In the highly competitive Hikari Collab service category, Biglobe Hikari's 'Family 10 Giga Type' shone as the overall winner.
The detailed results are as follows. *All communication speeds (bps) are average download speeds. *The ISP category ranking evaluates providers with the fastest average download speeds among those contracted through NTT East/West and KDDI lines.
