TOEIC® L&R IP Test (Online) Now Supports API Integration

The International Development Association of Business Communication (IIBC) (Location: Nakano, Nakano-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Hiroatsu Fujisawa), which conducts and operates the TOEIC Program in Japan, will commence API integration for its "TOEIC Listening & Reading IP Test (Online)" with external English learning platforms. This initiative aims to provide English learners with a testing environment more closely tied to their studies. As a starting point, integration with "Study Sapuri ENGLISH," an English learning app provided by Recruit Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Keiichi Ushida, hereinafter "Recruit"), began on April 6, 2026. ## Overview of Integrated Services IIBC provides the "TOEIC L&R IP Test (Online)" ※, which is offered to organizations, by integrating it via API with external English learning platforms. This creates an environment where users can take tests more smoothly on the learning services they use daily. By utilizing the "TOEIC L&R IP Test (Online)" in conjunction with English learning services, it becomes easier to confirm learning progress and set goals, leading to expectations of further improvement in learning effectiveness. ※ The "TOEIC L&R IP Test (Online)" can be taken anytime, 24 hours a day. It features a CAT (Computerized Adaptive Testing) system that provides real-time scoring of answers during the test and adjusts the difficulty of questions according to the test-taker's ability. The test duration is approximately 1 hour. It is easy to incorporate into study breaks, allowing for casual measurement of English proficiency. ## Future Developments Starting with "Study Sapuri ENGLISH," IIBC will work to build partnerships with organizations that provide English learning services, while considering and promoting the integration of the online TOEIC Program with English learning services.
