The Institute of Geoeconomics (IOG) at the International House of Japan (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: James Masakazu Kondo; Director: Kazuto Suzuki) is pleased to announce that it will hold the "Geoeconomic Summit 2026 – Geoeconomics in Times of Geopolitical Turbulence" (hereinafter referred to as "this event") in Tokyo on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

The first Geoeconomic Summit was held in 2024, and since then, it has served as a forum for experts from around the world to gather and discuss important issues in understanding contemporary international relations amidst a changing geopolitical and geoeconomic landscape.

This year's summit, the third of its kind, will once again bring together leading experts from government, industry, and academia to discuss a wide range of topics, taking into account the rapidly changing and increasingly unstable international situation.

All sessions will be conducted in English, with simultaneous interpretation available.
