IG Arena Receives 'Tokai Information and Communications Council Chairman's Award' at the 2026 Radio Day and Information and Communications Month Ceremony

Aichi International Arena Co., Ltd. (Nagoya City, President: Hisato Kanji), which operates IG Arena, received the 'Tokai Information and Communications Council Chairman's Award' today at the '2026 Radio Day and Information and Communications Month Ceremony' held by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' Tokai Bureau of Telecommunications and the Tokai Information and Communications Council. This award recognizes individuals and organizations that have contributed to the development of radio usage or information and communications. The award was given in recognition of the 'IOWN Special Stage,' the first time IG Arena utilized IOWN during the 'Samsung Galaxy presents TGC in Aichi-Nagoya 2026 by TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION' held on February 15, 2026. By connecting IG Arena and Yokohama BUNTAI in real-time, the performance realized the nation's first next-generation linked live production using IOWN, where the stages of FRUITS ZIPPER and CANDY TUNE across two venues became one, transcending distance.
