She started karate at the age of 7 and won national championships in elementary school, junior high school, high school, and corporate leagues. Although she was a member of the Japanese national team until 2016, she moved to the Philippines alone to contribute to the development of karate in her homeland, inspired by karate becoming an Olympic sport. After winning medals in Asian Games and world tours, she won the World Games, organized by the IOC, held in the United States in 2022.
