Identity Partners Co., Ltd., which handles organizational development and human resource development, launched this series to provide business professionals with opportunities to directly engage with global standard 'essential ways of thinking.' It is held regularly with a different theme each time.

This time, we welcome karateka Junna Tsukii to discuss how to break through the walls of oneself and the field!

She was undefeated from a young age and was a hopeful in the Japanese karate world. After recovering from numerous injuries and achieving world success, she moved her activities from Japan to the Philippines. A new start in a country with no foundation. A transition into martial arts.

We will ask about her unique way of happily escaping her comfort zone.

Junna Tsukii

Karateka. World Games 2022 Women's Kumite 50kg class Gold Medalist.

She started karate at the age of 7 and won national championships in elementary school, junior high school, high school, and corporate leagues. Although she was a member of the Japanese national team until 2016, she moved to the Philippines alone to contribute to the development of karate in her homeland, inspired by karate becoming an Olympic sport. After winning medals in Asian Games and world tours, she won the World Games, organized by the IOC, held in the United States in 2022. She returned to Japan in 2024 and is currently active as a mixed martial artist, while also coaching children and students.

After joining a trading company, he served for four years as an official secretary to a member of the Diet. During his tenure, he also experienced supporting a Senior Vice-Minister. He focuses on the emotional aspects such as stories and feelings of people, things, and events, and excels at 'championing' them.
