Ideal Route Consulting Launches Consulting Service to Support Companies in Obtaining Ratings for Supply Chain Security Assessment System Scheduled to Start in FY2026

In response to the increasing severity of cyber security risks throughout supply chains, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is promoting the introduction of a new system, the "Security Measures Assessment System for Strengthening Supply Chains," to visualize companies' security measures.

With operations scheduled to begin in FY2026, companies are required to take early action in anticipation of the system's implementation.

Against this backdrop, Ideal Route Consulting Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Ko Ishikawa; hereinafter: "the Company") will begin providing consulting services to support the acquisition of cyber security ratings.

Background In recent years, as corporate activities become more digitized, the importance of cyber security measures across the entire supply chain has increased. In response to this situation, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is promoting the introduction of a new system, the "Security Measures Assessment System for Strengthening Supply Chains," to visualize companies' security measures.

Under this system, the establishment of a mechanism to objectively demonstrate a company's security response status to business partners and society by evaluating and rating its security measure level is being considered.

Meanwhile, there is a growing need for specialized services to support companies' preparations, as understanding system requirements, organizing security measures, establishing systems, and responding to audits require specialized knowledge.

Service Overview To address these corporate challenges, the Company provides consulting services aimed at acquiring cyber security ratings. This service provides comprehensive support from initial assessment to the formulation of a roadmap for measures, review of regulations and procedures, and preparation for audits.

Furthermore, if necessary, it also provides PMO support for the implementation of security measures across the entire supply chain, including business partners, and accompanying support for promoting measures.
