What is "Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-"?

A music-based character rap project launched in September 2017 by EVIL LINE RECORDS, a label within King Records.

A total of 18 unique main characters are divided into six teams: "Ikebukuro Division," "Yokohama Division," "Shibuya Division," "Shinjuku Division," "Osaka Division," and "Nagoya Division," engaging in intense rap battles.

The rap music that colors the battles features rappers and trackmakers who lead Japan's hip-hop scene as creators. By having voice actors perform various songs while rapping, the story of each character unfolds around the music.

What is "Hypnosis Mic -Alternative Rap Battle-"?

"Hypnosis Mic -Alternative Rap Battle-", released by Idea Factory Plus Co., Ltd. in 2020, is a smartphone game app based on "Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-".

Players can enjoy original stories and a rhythm game called "KILLER SCRATCH!!" which features new sensory gimmicks such as "Scratch Notes" unique to this title.

The Nintendo Switch version includes familiar elements from the game app version, as well as additional elements unique to this title, such as three fully-voiced special stories written specifically for the .
