~Celebrating 35 Years~ Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel Offers Special Restaurant Menus with Gratitude

Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel (1-1-1 Minatomirai, Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) will celebrate its 35th anniversary on August 20, 2026 (Thu). To express our gratitude to all customers who have patronized us since our opening, we will be offering special 35th-anniversary products at our in-house restaurants and lounges.

Since our opening in 1991, this hotel has been blessed with wonderful connections with many customers.

Customers who have celebrated major milestones in their lives at our hotel, such as special occasion meals, anniversary stays, celebratory parties, and even proposals and weddings, now visit us with their children and grandchildren.

In appreciation of your continued patronage, we have prepared special menus at our restaurants and lounges. We invite you to enjoy a selection of memorable dishes on this occasion.

Chinese Restaurant "Karyu"

"Karyu," our main dining room on the 31st floor, the highest floor of the hotel, will host an "All-You-Can-Eat Dim Sum Order Buffet" for three days only: August 19 (Wed), 20 (Thu), and 21 (Fri). This will feature handmade dim sum by our dim sum chefs.

While enjoying the view of the Minatomirai cityscape spread out below, you can savor a course that includes a selection of 16 types of dim sum, an assortment of 6 appetizers, shark fin soup dumplings, dessert, and our original Chinese tea "Bijin Saisai," all at a special price to commemorate our 35th anniversary. Please enjoy our luxurious dim sum, featuring ingredients such as abalone, caviar, and crab, a specialty of our hotel.

Additionally, starting August 20 (Thu), we will offer a "Braised Whole Shark Fin" approximately 250g, more than twice the usual size, limited to 35 servings. The mako shark fin we are offering this time is characterized by its firm texture and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. It is perfect for sharing with family and friends. Please take this opportunity to try our high-quality, limited-quantity shark fin.

Lounge & Bar "Marine Blue"

At "Marine Blue," our lounge and bar with panoramic views of Yokohama Port, we will offer an original cocktail commemorating our 35th anniversary, served in a cocktail container inspired by the hotel's exterior, starting August 20 (Thu).

Our hotel has a tradition of selling original cocktails in hotel-shaped cocktail containers to mark milestones such as our 5th and 10th anniversaries.

The theme for our 35th-anniversary original cocktail is "The Sea of Yokohama." We have layered the fruity sweetness of lychee-scented pearl liqueur with cassis and guava, and finished it with sparkling wine to create a beautiful blue reminiscent of the sparkling sea. A hint of coconut adds a summery touch.

Customers who order the cocktail will receive the hotel-shaped cocktail container, a popular collectible item, to take home.

Seaside Beer Garden "Hama Beer!"

Our hotel's summer tradition, the seaside beer garden "Hama Beer!", will offer two special plans for internet reservations only to celebrate our 35th anniversary.

The first plan offers a great value for groups of 4 adults, including a beer garden with Spanish-style cold dishes, BBQ, and all-you-can-drink options. The second plan is a special plan that includes free-flowing sparkling wine, which is not normally included in the all-you-can-drink items.

Please enjoy a delightful summer evening to your heart's content with the Yokohama Port night view spread out before you.
