Luxurious Chilled Noodles Unique to a Hotel: "Special Seafood Chilled Jade Noodles"

The Chinese restaurant "Karyu" on the 31st floor of the Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel (1-1-1 Minatomirai, Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) will offer its annually popular "Special Seafood Chilled Jade Noodles" for a limited time from Wednesday, June 3, 2026, to Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

This year, our hotel's summer specialty, the chilled jade noodles, will appear with a new look.

Previously served with ingredients on a separate plate, this year, the colorful ingredients are beautifully arranged on the vibrant jade-colored noodles, kneaded with spinach, creating a visually stunning dish.

The ingredients include a generous selection of 11 luxurious seafood items such as head-on shrimp from Himejima, Oita, tender steamed abalone, salmon roe, and Chinese jellyfish, along with carefully prepared homemade char siu and steamed chicken.

For the sauces that enhance the deliciousness of the noodles and ingredients, we offer two types: a refreshing "Shiso Soy Sauce" with a clean taste, invigorating acidity, and perilla aroma, and a rich, deep-flavored homemade "Yuzu Sesame Sauce" with an elegant hint of yuzu. Please choose according to your preference.

Additionally, for lunch only, we offer a set that includes the jade noodles, a three-assortment dim sum, and dessert. For dessert, you can choose one item from egg tart and seasonal fruits, or main glass sweets such as Karyu's special mango pudding, almond tofu, or tapioca coconut milk.

Both the à la carte and set menus come with Karyu's original Chinese tea "Bihada Saicha," allowing you to enjoy a graceful moment savoring the fragrant Chinese tea after your meal.

Please enjoy the hotel's special luxurious chilled noodles while gazing at the blue sea and the magnificent view of Yokohama Port from the main dining room on the top floor.
