Ichigo Group Donates 20 Million Yen to Miyazaki City under Corporate Furusato Nozei Program, Contributing to Sustainable Community Development

We are a "sustainable infrastructure company" that supports people's prosperous lives.

We have made a donation under the Regional Revitalization Tax System (corporate version of furusato nozei) to support Miyazaki City's (Mayor Tomonori Kiyoyama) projects: "Projects for the empowerment of women, youth, and foreign nationals; tourism and sports promotion projects; and projects to support children's future." We received a letter of appreciation from Miyazaki City.

As a sustainable infrastructure company, Ichigo aims to create new value in real estate and bring prosperity to Japan's future together with cities and people. In Miyazaki Prefecture, we operate various businesses such as the lifestyle-oriented shopping center "Miyakyo City" rooted in the region, "Ichigo ECO Energy" handling clean energy, J2 soccer club "Tegevajaro Miyazaki," agricultural business "Ichigo Potage," and local broadcaster "Miyazaki Sunshine FM." We promote each business as "sustainable infrastructure" that enhances Miyazaki's sustainability.

In particular, in Miyazaki City, we continuously engage in activities for women's empowerment, child-rearing support, and social participation of people with disabilities in the welfare field. These activities align with Miyazaki City's future vision of "an open city that challenges and grows ~OPEN CITY MIYAZAKI~" and are conducted in line with that philosophy. Moving forward, we aim to contribute to the revitalization of the Southern Kyushu area, including Miyazaki City, and help create prosperity for Japan.

Miyazaki City is one of Japan's leading regions blessed with rich nature and food, and is a central city in Southern Kyushu where diverse cultures such as sports and music thrive. Our Ichigo Group is deeply indebted to many people through businesses such as Miyakyo City, Tegevajaro Miyazaki, Ichigo Potage, and Miyazaki Sunshine FM. Many of our officers and employees are based in Miyazaki City, making it an important region for us.

We aim to "make Japan the richest country in the world." Supporting Miyazaki, which is a treasure trove of food and rich in sports and cultural appeal, is highly meaningful in creating Japan's prosperity.

We understand that this donation will be used for activities that support the healthy growth and challenges of children who will lead the future, including promoting cervical cancer vaccination, sports promotion, and instrument maintenance in junior high school cultural clubs. Both sports and culture are valuable assets that expand children's potential and create pride and vitality in the region. Additionally, the Ichigo Group has implemented corporate furusato nozei totaling 65 million yen to Miyazaki City over four years from the fiscal year ending February 2023 to February 2026, and a cumulative total of 667.4 million yen to all municipalities in Miyazaki Prefecture.

As a corporate citizen who loves Miyazaki, we will continue to contribute to creating a sustainable and attractive Miyazaki together with local residents.
