Ichigo Holds Opening Party and Media Showcase for 'THE VILLAGE SAPPORO', the 5th Project in its 'Village Series' Office Brand

We are a 'Sustainable Infrastructure Company' that supports people's rich lives. We operate a business model centered on 'Ichigo-style value creation' (Shin-chiku), which creates new value for existing real estate with heart. On May 1, 2026, we opened 'THE VILLAGE SAPPORO,' a new office building in a prime location just a 2-minute walk from Sapporo Subway Station, 4 minutes from Odori Station, and 6 minutes from JR Sapporo Station. The concept is 'Power Link Village,' aiming to create and support connections. The building features the first Hokkaido location of 'WeWork,' a flexible office provider operated by WWJ Inc. (WeWork Japan), which fosters cross-industry communities. A business lounge produced by WeWork is located on the second floor. On May 20, 2026, we held an opening party for tenants and WeWork users, followed by a media showcase on May 21. At the party, WeWork Japan CEO Kumagai and Ichigo Estate President Hosono introduced the building as a community office. The media event allowed journalists to experience the building's high-performance specs, sophisticated design, advanced technology, and BCP measures. Sapporo Mayor Katsuhiro Akimoto and Yuki Saito (CEO of Saito Yuki Inc.) attended, with Mayor Akimoto expressing his support for startups in Hokkaido. The event also featured a ceremonial first pitch by CEO Kumagai and a panel discussion on AI startup support initiatives with SoftBank Corp. We remain committed to regional revitalization in Sapporo through this project.
