Our company is a 'Sustainable Infrastructure Company' that supports people's rich lives.

We recently made a donation related to the regional revitalization support tax system (corporate hometown tax) to Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture (Mayor Katsuaki Kamiji) for the 'Yokosuka Local Product Appeal and Tourism Hub Strengthening Project in the Central City Area', 'Project to Attract Visitors to the Region through Sports', and 'Media Sales Project', and received a letter of appreciation from Yokosuka City.

Ichigo owns and operates real estate and clean energy facilities throughout Japan. As a sustainable infrastructure company, we aim to create new value in real estate and bring richness to Japan's future alongside cities and people. In the Yokosuka area, where 'Ichigo Yokosuka Port Market' is located, we have been working on regional revitalization as a new tourism hub of the Miura Peninsula through various initiatives such as 'food', 'sports', and 'music'.

Furthermore, Yokosuka City has established a regional revitalization plan, the '3rd Yokosuka City Town, People, and Work Revitalization Promotion Plan'. To address various issues faced by the city, while ensuring the enrichment of daily life infrastructure, the city aims to refine and expand its unique characteristics not found in other cities, striving to become a vibrant Yokosuka that citizens can take pride in.

We have made a hometown tax donation for the 'Yokosuka Local Product Appeal and Tourism Hub Strengthening Project in the Central City Area', 'Project to Attract Visitors to the Region through Sports', and 'Media Sales Project' among the projects in this plan.

We will continue to support these initiatives and contribute to the further development of Yokosuka City and the Miura Peninsula.

Comments from Minoru Ishihara, Executive Vice President and COO of Ichigo Inc.

The Miura Peninsula (Yokosuka, Kamakura, Zushi, Hayama, Miura) is a deeply attractive area boasting rich nature as one of the leading tourist destinations in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and highly popular as a 'city people want to live in'. Under the concept of the 'Miura Peninsula Food Experience', we at Ichigo operate the 'Ichigo Yokosuka Port Market' and are working together with the local community to create new appeal for Yokosuka.

In recent years, large-scale redevelopment has progressed in Yokosuka City, including the Uraga area and around Yokosuka Chuo Station, and expectations for the city's future are rising with the development of new urban functions and tourism hubs. On the other hand, the region faces no shortage of challenges, such as a declining population and changes in the industrial structure. Amidst this, we believe that the power of sports, entertainment, and 'food' will generate pride and vitality in people, becoming a major driving force to positively transform the city.

Moreover, Yokosuka City is known as the hometown of the Yokohama F. Marinos. The presence of the Yokohama F. Marinos, which has delivered dreams and excitement to the region for many years and is loved by many fans and supporters, is one of the symbols of regional revitalization through sports, and we feel it significantly contributes to enhancing the appeal of Yokosuka.

We made a donation again this year with the desire to further polish these unique characteristics and charms of Yokosuka and contribute, even slightly, to sustainable urban development connected to the next generation. This marks our fifth donation to Yokosuka City, with the total donation amount reaching 245 million JPY. We sincerely hope these funds will be utilized meaningfully, and that Yokosuka City will develop into an appealing city that attracts even more people.

We pray for the further development of the highly attractive Yokosuka and the entire Miura Peninsula, and we will continue to promote various initiatives in collaboration with the local community.
