Senkyo.com, in collaboration with JX News Agency, conducted a nationwide hybrid survey (simultaneous phone and internet surveys using identical questions) targeting individuals aged 18 and over in Japan on June 13 (Sat) and 14 (Sun), 2026.

This report presents the results of our monthly tracking on party support rates, cabinet approval ratings, voting intentions for the next House of Councillors proportional representation election, and this month’s special question: "The Future of the Centrist Reform Alliance."

Survey Overview

The survey was conducted on June 13 and 14, 2026 (Reiwa 8). The target population was individuals aged 18 and over in Japan. Valid responses were collected from 1,064 participants via telephone interviews and 1,385 via internet surveys (both conducted jointly with JX News Agency). All figures are rounded to the nearest second decimal place.

The Future of the Centrist Reform Alliance

The chart above shows responses to: "The Constitutional Democratic Party and Komeito formed the Centrist Reform Alliance in January this year and contested the House of Representatives election together. However, in the House of Councillors, they are operating separately. What do you think the three parties — Centrist, CDP, and Komeito — should do going forward? Please choose from the following seven options."
