## What is the Local Government Business Pitch 2026?
"Business Pitch 2026 for Local Governments," hosted by Ichini Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo: Representative Director, Taku Takahata), which operates Japan's largest political and election information platform "Senkyo.com," is a pitch (presentation) contest that provides opportunities to utilize new business ideas from private companies in collaboration with administrative bodies to solve social issues. Its purpose is to promote collaboration between private companies with ideas and technologies useful for solving social issues and local governments, thereby contributing to the development of society and the economy.
Incumbent mayors and governors, local assembly members, and local government officials from all over Japan will participate as judges, providing an opportunity to directly propose ideas to the decision-making layers of local governments. Unlike conventional business pitches or tenders, there are no requirements for track record or years in business.
This is the only business pitch where you can simultaneously appeal to mayors and governors who hold budget-forming authority, local assembly members who have the right to ask questions, and officials who promote projects. We encourage you to participate in this great opportunity for your ideas to move local governments across Japan and make a significant impact on Japanese society!
