H.C. Tochigi Nikko Ice Bucks Announces Retirement of General Manager Eiji Tsuchida and Appointment of Nobumasa Kinugasa

H.C. Tochigi Nikko Ice Bucks announced that Eiji Tsuchida will retire from his General Manager position after the 2025-2026 season, and Nobumasa Kinugasa will be appointed as his successor. Mr. Tsuchida had concurrently served as General Manager and Team Director since April 2024, following the retirement of the previous General Manager. This retirement is limited to the General Manager position, and he will continue to be involved in club operations as Team Director. Nobumasa Kinugasa commented on his appointment as General Manager of H.C. Tochigi Nikko Ice Bucks, expressing respect for Mr. Tsuchida's contributions. He stated his commitment to building upon the established foundation, aiming for further club growth, not fearing "change," and striving for higher standards. He plans to focus on strengthening competitiveness, achieving both "building a world-class winning team" and "sustainable club management," and establishing a more objective and strategic team formation and development system.
