Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan - Spring 2026 Italian Language Courses Open

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan is opening Italian language courses taught by native instructors. Two courses will be held, allowing students to learn enjoyably according to their level, from introductory to elementary. The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ), in cooperation with Lingua Viva Italian Language School, an ICCJ member, will open its Spring 2026 Italian language courses.

In these courses, multiple Italian instructors will be in charge of lessons, allowing students to learn "living Italian" as it is actually used, while experiencing each instructor's individuality and expression. With small class sizes, we provide an environment where beginners and those aiming to step up their skills can learn at their own pace and according to their goals.

① Introductory Italian A(b) [April - July 2026]

A step forward from your first Italian. For those who want to firmly grasp the basics.

This is an introductory level course for those who want to start learning Italian or have just begun. Due to small class sizes, instructors provide careful guidance tailored to each student's understanding, allowing them to proceed with confidence.
*This course is a continuing class and is intended for those with basic learning experience (目安: approx. 15-20 hours). (Those who have learned the present tense of verbs essere and avere, definite and indefinite articles, etc.)

■ Content to be learned
・Grammar: Present tense of verbs essere / avere, regular/irregular verbs, prepositions, etc.
・Conversation: Daily life, expressing time, simple phone calls, etc.

・Practical instruction by native instructors
・Small class sizes for easy questioning
・Acquire basic and conversational skills while having fun

② Elementary Italian Course [April - June 2026]

For those who have finished the basics. Step up to more natural, "speakable" Italian.

This elementary course is for those who have already learned the basics of grammar and conversation, and aims to develop more practical expressive skills. You will acquire Italian that can be used in various situations such as daily conversation and travel.
*This course is a continuing class and is intended for those with learning experience (目安: approx. 165 hours). (Those who have learned passato prossimo, imperfetto, futuro semplice, pronomi combinati, condizionale, etc.)

■ Content to be learned
・Grammar: Compound pronouns, imperative mood, relative pronouns, etc.
・Conversation: Daily life, travel, hobbies, polite expressions, etc.

■ Features
・Multi-faceted instruction by multiple native instructors
・Strengthen practical conversational and listening skills
・Solid retention with small class sizes
