IBeeT Inc. ("IBeeT"), Tokyu Land Corporation ("Tokyu Land"), and Akaysha Energy Japan Inc. ("Akaysha") have jointly established Iizuka Seta Battery Storage LLC ("the Company") through joint investment and commenced construction of a grid-connected battery energy storage system (rated output 20MW / rated capacity 82MWh) in the Seta district of Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
This storage facility will contribute to the stabilization of power supply and demand in Kyushu as an adjustment capacity power source to complement the output fluctuations of renewable energy.
This project will utilize subsidies from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (FY2024 Subsidy Program for the Promotion of Renewable Energy Introduction and Support for the Introduction of Grid-Connected Battery Storage Systems and Other Electricity Storage Systems).

1. Market Conditions and Significance of Initiatives
Towards the realization of carbon neutrality by 2050, the need for batteries that can compensate for the output fluctuations of renewable energy (hereinafter referred to as "RE"), which are significantly affected by weather and time of day, is increasing with the expansion of RE introduction. Kyushu, in particular, is a region where RE facility introduction is leading and output controls occur frequently, creating a high demand for storage facilities that can provide supply-demand adjustment functions. Through storage facility projects in Kyushu, IBeeT, Tokyu Land, and Akaysha will work together to address the social issue of achieving a decarbonized society.
2. IBeeT's Initiatives
IBeeT will be entrusted with project management services by the Company and will provide management support related to the launch of the storage facility, including battery system construction and the establishment of an operational structure after completion.

4. Each Company's Initiatives Regarding Battery Storage Business
●IBeeT
IBeeT was established in 2021 through investment from ITOCHU Corporation and Tokyo Century Corporation to widely promote distributed power sources for the realization of a sustainable and flexible energy society.
It engages in the sale and leasing of solar power generation systems, industrial and grid-connected battery storage systems, and the sale of electricity generated by solar power (PPA).
Regarding grid-connected battery storage facilities, IBeeT has participated in battery leasing for two storage facilities operated by Nishitetsu Natural Energy LLC in Kyushu, and has invested in Gotoku Battery Storage LLC in collaboration with Looop Inc. (a subsidiary of Tokyu Land Corporation).
Furthermore, in March 2026, IBeeT participated in the "Librra LLC," a consortium for grid-connected battery storage systems, which promotes six extra-high voltage grid-connected battery storage facilities (total output approximately 174MW nationwide, total project cost approximately 30 billion yen) through joint investment with Tokyu Land Corporation and other companies.
This Iizuka Seta Battery Storage LLC project is the third storage facility project in which IBeeT has invested.
IBeeT will provide total solutions for the introduction of distributed power sources (products, technical expertise, finance, market operation, after-sales service) to maximize energy value.
●Tokyu Land
Under the business brand "ReENE," Tokyu Land Corporation is developing renewable energy projects nationwide, with 153 projects including those under development, totaling a rated capacity of 2,072MW (as of the end of March 2026).
In addition, in collaboration with Looop Inc. (100% subsidiary of Tokyu Land) and Looop Energy Inc. (100% subsidiary of Tokyu Land Holdings), the group promotes businesses integrally, from the development, AM, and O&M of RE power plants and storage facilities to electricity supply and aggregation. The company aims to respond quickly and strategically to changes in the market environment surrounding the RE business and to further expand its presence in the industry, establishing it as a new pillar of profit alongside the real estate business within the Tokyu Land Holdings Group.
The grid-connected battery storage business was launched in 2023, and the company is developing approximately 340MW nationwide, including the formation of the "Librra LLC" consortium for grid-connected battery storage systems worth approximately 30 billion yen, and the planned commencement of operations for the "Looop Higashimatsuyama Storage Facility" (2MW) in Higashimatsuyama City, Saitama Prefecture, in January 2025.
The Tokyu Land Group will continue to expand investment in this field by leveraging the knowledge gained from past grid-connected battery storage development and this project.
●Akaysha
Akaysha Energy is a market-leading company in Australia involved in the development, ownership, and operation of battery energy storage systems (BESS), and is also developing project pipelines in Japan, the United States, and Germany. The company was established in Australia in 2021 as an independent power producer (IPP) and currently employs over 200 people, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Tokyo, Portland, and Houston. Akaysha Energy currently provides 5.3GWh of storage capacity, with 1.9GW of projects in operation or under construction.
