I feel fortunate to have been able to play in front of the fans, friends, and family after returning to my hometown. However, I regret that I was unable to play in the second half of the season due to injury. It is the off-season now, but with the support of those around me, I am able to train and play basketball well.
Since returning to my hometown, I have not yet achieved many things, such as victories and titles. I want to work hard towards those goals and seize them. I ask for your continued support. I think the Robots have various leaders, but I want to involve and lead those around me in my own way. That is also a point I want to focus on.
Also, regarding my uniform number, it changed after discussions with #1 Parks Junior. We share the same birthday, and I am really looking forward to fighting together this season. Thank you.

We have reached an agreement on a contract with Genki Kojima for the 2026-27 season.
The 2025-26 season was affected by a knee injury, limiting him to only 24 games, and I believe it was not a satisfactory season for either the team or him personally. However, in the games he played, he contributed to the team with his experience-backed game-making and management skills. His recovery after knee surgery is progressing well, and since next season will be his second year after transferring, I believe he will be able to fully express his personality and have a positive impact on the entire team, both on and off the court.
In terms of play, we expect him not only to control the game as a PG but also to actively score and assist, contributing to the team's victory. I am confident that the attitude Kojima embodies—"recognizing and committing to one's role for the team to win" and "respecting teammates and always working hard with a team-first mentality"—is an essential culture for the Robots to step up in the B.PREMIER.
Furthermore, as a locally-born player like Chen, I believe he will give even more dreams and hope to fans, boosters, and children in Ibaraki Prefecture who aspire to become professional basketball players in the future.
