iai Creates Generative AI-Powered Concept Videos for SoftBank and Tokyu Land's 'Greater Shibuya Area' Demonstration Experiment

iai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Toshitsugu Tsuboi; hereinafter 'iai') has produced two concept videos using generative AI to introduce the initiatives of a demonstration experiment (hereinafter 'this experiment') conducted by Tokyu Land Corporation (hereinafter 'Tokyu Land') and SoftBank Corp. (hereinafter 'SoftBank') in the 'Greater Shibuya Area (*1)'. The experiment ran from December 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026.

This experiment is an initiative to improve visitor traffic flow within the area by distributing multilingual short videos, created by SoftBank using AI multi-agent technology (*2), on 'OurPick', a region-specific web service provided by Tokyu Land, targeting visitors.

To promote awareness and technical understanding of this experiment among service users, iai produced the following two concept videos.

*1 Greater Shibuya Area: An area within a radius of approximately 2.5 km from Shibuya Station, as defined by the Tokyu Group.

*2 AI Multi-Agent: A technology where multiple AI agents autonomously think and act while cooperating with each other to accomplish tasks.

① AI Multi-Agent Concept Video (for Media and Business Audiences)

A visual explanation of the innovativeness of the AI multi-agent technology developed by SoftBank, targeting press/media personnel and corporate clients.

② 'OurPick' Service Concept Video (for Inbound Tourists)

A video promoting the user experience of 'OurPick', primarily targeting foreign tourists visiting the Greater Shibuya Area.

Co-creation with AI and Humans: Visualizing Technical Understanding and Visitor Experience

In producing these videos, iai combined the diverse expressive capabilities of generative AI with human expertise in planning, directing, and editing to create two concept videos tailored to different purposes and audiences.

For the AI Multi-Agent Concept Video, generative AI was used for the visual design of robot characters, as well as for the footage, music, and narration. The innovativeness of AI multi-agent technology was expressed in an intuitively understandable visual format.

For the 'OurPick' Service Concept Video, generative AI was used to create the visual design of characters, footage, music, etc., targeting inbound tourists visiting the Greater Shibuya Area. The visitor experience offered by 'OurPick' was depicted as a visual story independent of language.

In both works, while generative AI was used for materials such as visual design, footage, and music, humans handled story design, direction, and editing, achieving both the breadth of expression unique to generative AI and the high quality of the final video.
