Also, because the soft fabric bunches up in the hand, we felt that typical long, narrow sizes were hard for some people to use. 'OFURO' was born from the hypotheses: 'Even with 100% cotton, if it is handkerchief-sized, can we not achieve both ease of drying and ease of use?' and 'By making it pile, will it not hold air and lather more easily?' During development, we conducted repeated surveys with users who regularly use Iori products. Initially, we only planned a 25cm square 'Square Type' pursuing compactness, but test users voiced that 'it cannot reach the back with this size'. Therefore, while maintaining the maneuverability of washing with the palm, we added a 25cm x 50cm 'Rectangular Type' to the lineup that can cover the whole body. Feedback from actual sample users included: 'It is soft but provides a solid feeling of having washed' and 'It dries very quickly, so it is great that I can wash it every day'. Starting from a small realization by the staff and completed by pursuing ease of use together with users, 'OFURO' will resolve worries related to body towels and deliver a new bathing experience.
