[Project ①] "Gran Hat" Development Project: A Facility Where All Residents Gather and All Generations Can Thrive
https://fcf.furunavi.jp/Project/Detail?projectid=987
《Overview of Support》
Kumiyama Town, Kyoto Prefecture, is advancing the "Gran Hat" development project with the aim of updating facilities and creating a new town, in response to the aging and seismic vulnerability of the Central Community Center, which opened in 1975. To achieve more efficient and effective operations amidst a declining population, a review committee was established in 2017. As a result, it was decided to close the existing community center and construct a new facility as a multi-generational exchange hub that expands social education functions. Gran Hat will feature an open space integrating learning, exchange, and activity, with completion scheduled for fiscal year 2026. It will be a place where everyone from children to the elderly can gather, play, learn, and interact, and will also serve as an evacuation center during disasters. Furthermore, this facility will be a core component of the "community-based inclusive" town development concept, aiming to realize a society where residents of diverse generations and backgrounds have roles and places, supporting each other. We hope for your support as it is expected to become a symbolic presence that deepens community bonds and promotes collaboration between residents and the administration.

[Project ②] We Want to Deliver Diapers and Milk Monthly to Children and Watch Over Their Parenting
https://fcf.furunavi.jp/Project/Detail?projectid=988
《Overview of Support》
"Hagukumi Teikibin" (Nurturing Regular Delivery) is an initiative to support parenting households that tend to feel isolated and anxious due to the progression of nuclear families. In recent years, there has been an increase in households without close people to consult, and mothers, in particular, often feel isolated due to the long hours spent alone with their babies. Against this background, the importance of administrative support has grown, leading to the launch of this project. It targets households with children aged 3 months to 1 year, delivering childcare products such as diapers and milk directly to them every month. Products can be selected from multiple types, and sizes and manufacturers can be decided in consultation with visiting support staff, making it safe for parents with little parenting experience to use. Furthermore, the main purpose of this project is not just material support, but for support staff to regularly visit households and engage in dialogue with mothers. This allows for consultation and advice on worries, aiming to reduce the burden of parenting and prevent isolation. We also promote connections with the community through introducing exchange opportunities and build a monitoring system that can detect small changes in parents and children, thereby fostering an environment where parenting can be done with peace of mind. We would be grateful for your endorsement and support for this initiative.

[Project ③] "(Tentative Name) Mimamikko Mannaka Oen Mura" Project
https://fcf.furunavi.jp/Project/Detail?projectid=989
《Overview of Support》
The "(Tentative Name) Mimamikko Mannaka Oen Mura" (Mimamikko Central Support Village) project is a model initiative for child-rearing support and community-based town development promoted by Kumiyama Town. Recognizing the decreasing time parents can dedicate to child-rearing due to the increase in dual-income households, it aims to create a system where the entire community, not just families, supports children. It is being developed in the Mimaki school district, a rural area, as its base. By fostering collaboration among administration, families, communities, and businesses, and creating a place where diverse people gather and interact around children, it aims to realize a "child-friendly town." The facility aims to be a place where children can freely spend time, meet people, learn, and challenge themselves, characterized by its operation and events being carried out in collaboration with local residents. Events utilizing school facilities have been held even before completion, advancing community-wide initiatives. Moving forward, through mechanisms where children are actively involved, multi-generational exchange, and the creation of learning opportunities utilizing local resources, we will develop an environment where the entire community raises children, and aim to spread its achievements throughout the town to realize the "Kumiyama Model." We kindly ask for your support.
