[Project Name] To Kobe, a city you'll want to visit again! We want to enhance the appeal of Kobe's representative tourist destinations (Arima Onsen, Kitano Area, Nankinmachi)!

《Overview of Support》

Kobe City boasts many attractive tourist destinations, including Arima Onsen, one of Japan's three famous hot springs and three ancient hot springs; the Kitano Ijinkan-gai (foreign residences district) lined with former foreign residences; and Nankinmachi, one of Western Japan's leading Chinatowns. In this project, with everyone's support, tourism-related organizations will work to improve the appeal of these tourist resources, aiming to develop Kobe into an even more desirable tourist destination.

Around Arima Onsen, we will proceed with landscape maintenance of Tsuzumigataki Park and Zuiko-ji Park. Tsuzumigataki is a historic scenic spot mentioned in waka poetry and Noh plays, but currently, the waterfall and river are difficult to see due to overgrown trees. We will maintain the trees and renovate the waterfall path to restore the beautiful waterfall scenery. At Zuiko-ji Park, we aim to restore the sound of the river and beautiful scenery by maintaining waterways and ponds that have been buried by sediment.

In the Kitano-Yamamoto area, we will light up historic buildings such as the public Ijinkan (foreign residences) to create a landscape where the historical charm of the area can be felt even at night. Lighting will also be installed around shrines and on the stone walls of plazas, creating a unified and beautiful nightscape throughout the entire area.

In Nankinmachi, renovations of aging facilities are underway, with repairs to the Xi'an Gate, Chang'an Gate, Kairon Gate, and Azumaya (rest area) already completed. Currently, the aging information sign on the north side of the plaza is an issue, and we plan to repair and update this important information facility, which includes explanations of history, the Spring Festival, and a town map.

《How Donations Will Be Used》

Donations received for this project will be utilized as follows:

・Maintenance of waterfall paths, felling and disposal of fallen trees, piping work, and sediment removal at Arima Onsen.

・New installation and expansion of lighting equipment in the Kitano area.

・Renewal of the "information sign" in the Nankinmachi area.
