《Overview of Support》 Shibecha High School is the only comprehensive high school in town, providing an environment where students can actively learn according to their interests and concerns. It is characterized by its close ties with the community, with the school and local area collaborating to support learning through activities such as selling agricultural products at festivals and developing return gifts for Furusato Nozei. On the other hand, due to the declining birthrate and aging population, student numbers are decreasing, posing challenges for the school's future survival and the maintenance of its educational environment. Furthermore, issues such as inadequate commuting and living environments, insufficient information dissemination, and lack of PR appeal also exist. In response, from Reiwa 6 (2024) fiscal year, the town will fully commit to nationwide recruitment, working "not just the school but the entire town" to promote its appeal and strengthen the acceptance system, aiming for the high school's continued existence and development in unity with the community.
