Future Scientists Explore the Secrets of "Fine Bubble Technology"! Students from SSH-designated Osaka Kyoiku University Tennoji High School Engage in Scientific Inquiry

Science Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Osaka Prefecture; President: Yasuhiro Mizukami; hereinafter "the Company"), a company aiming to solve social issues through fine bubble technology, held a special lecture and product experience session on March 24, 2026, for 13 students from the Osaka Kyoiku University Affiliated High School Tennoji Campus (hereinafter "Tennoji High School").

This initiative was conducted as part of the inquiry-based learning activities at the school, which is designated as a Super Science High School (SSH) by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). It provided an opportunity for the next generation to deepen their accurate knowledge of fine bubble technology and explore, from a scientific perspective, how this technology can solve contemporary social issues in fields such as nursing care, medicine, and space. Believing that the free and multifaceted perspectives of the younger generation are key to creating future innovation, the Company is also dedicated to nurturing the next generation toward the realization of a sustainable society.

[Highlights of the Day]

1. A Special Lecture on Creating Social Value In a lecture delivered by Executive Director Masaki Hirae, students were taught accurate knowledge about fine bubbles through a Q&A format. By showcasing applications such as the "Mirai Human Washing Machine" from the World Expo, as well as its use in nursing care cleaning, non-contact hand-washing detection devices, and even challenges in space showers, the lecture presented the potential for tiny bubbles to solve global-scale problems. The students watched with serious expressions as they learned about the process by which solid technology can create diverse value depending on the ideas applied to it.

2. "Proof of Technology" Experience in the Showroom In the "Hands-on Showroom," students experienced a recreation of the TV commercial where oil-based pen stains are removed using only mist, and viewed the actual "Mirai Human Washing Machine" that became a hot topic at the 2025 World Expo. They were able to feel the infinite possibilities of "fine bubble technology" that extends to nursing care, medicine, and space.

- Surprised by the cleaning demonstration just like in the commercial: A demonstration was held where oil-based pen stains were quickly removed without scrubbing, using only mist. Upon seeing the scene unfold before their eyes just like in the commercial, the students exclaimed, "Wow!" Afterward, when they actually applied the fine bubbles to their skin, they were surprised and felt the change in texture, saying, "It became so smooth!" and "It's completely different from before!"

- The overwhelming impact of the Mirai Human Washing Machine: Seeing the actual "Mirai Human Washing Machine" that garnered significant attention at the 2025 World Expo, the students were highly curious about the system that automatically washes the mind and body, as well as the bathing style of the future.

- Technology extending to nursing care, medicine, and space: Students were able to experience firsthand the infinite possibilities and multifaceted business development of fine bubble technology, which goes beyond showerheads to include nursing care, medicine, and space.

[Kazuyuki Tsutsui, SSH Coordinator at Osaka Kyoiku University Affiliated High School Tennoji Campus / Specially Appointed Professor at Kansai University] As part of our interdisciplinary inquiry-based learning curriculum, we visited with the goal of having students directly encounter professionals working on social issues and learning the process of problem-solving. I believe the flexible and ambitious approach of taking core fine bubble technology and expanding it into completely different fields like nursing care and space to solve social issues was very stimulating for the students. We expect this to revitalize our inquiry activities starting in April. Thank you very much for conducting such a fulfilling training session.

[Nurturing Innovation Talent through Industry-Academia Collaboration] Our group has been working to nurture innovation talent through industry-academia collaboration by partnering with educational institutions such as Ritsumeikan University, Keio University, and Mukogawa Women's University.
