New Information Map Around Sapporo's Second Busiest Area, "Kotoni Station" on the Tozai Subway Line

Hyojito Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Takayoshi Demo, hereinafter "the Company"), which develops services such as posting local information maps, renewed the advertising-equipped local information map "Navita" installed at Kotoni Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Tozai Line at the end of May 2026.

The renewal was carried out near Exit 1 of Kotoni Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Tozai Line.

The Company has been sequentially renewing "Navita" installed at each station of the Sapporo Municipal Subway since last year. The installation at Kotoni Station this time was also carried out as part of this initiative.

Located approximately 5 km from JR Sapporo Station, the area around Kotoni Station is known as "Sapporo's second busiest area," with a high concentration of commercial facilities and restaurants, making it a highly convenient area.

The renewal points for "Navita" at this station are as follows:

Point 1) Renewed display surface to be brighter and easier to see

With this renewal, a mechanism to uniformly distribute internal light throughout the entire surface has been incorporated, updating the structure so that the entire display surface now emits light that is even brighter and clearer than before.

This improves the visibility of map information and advertisements of local companies around the station, making it easier and more comfortable to check information when going out or in dark underground passages.

Point 2) Adopted a chic black frame that harmonizes with long underground passages

The display frame has been renewed from the previous white frame to a black-based frame.

In particular, the new information map installed near the main exits leading to the ward office and bus terminal blends comfortably into the long and vast underground passage space unique to Kotoni Station, giving the station atmosphere a modern and refined look.

The black frame acts like a picture frame, creating an effect that makes the map and advertisement designs, which are important for guidance, stand out more clearly and be easier to see.

The newly reborn "Navita" features a wide range of local advertisements, including restaurants, medical institutions, and service industries in the Kotoni area, which support the vitality of the town, just like before. It serves to guide people passing through the town daily to their destinations.

This renewal is a project that has been promoted since last year, and it is scheduled to be progressively implemented at each station of the Sapporo Municipal Subway in the future.
