New Group Name: "SAINT SATINE"

The newly formed group is named "SAINT SATINE." It's a portmanteau combining "SAINT," symbolizing "superior musicality and charisma," and "SATINE," representing "soft and beautiful texture." SAINT SATINE exists at the intersection of "driving desire" and "the transcendence of it." It's the tension that arises when instinct meets rational (self-controlled) beauty. The group relentlessly balances "captivating power" with "refined elegance," pushing forward through contradictions while harmonizing opposing elements.

This project is the second powerful collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records, following the success of "KATSEYE," which received Grammy nominations and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. With a vision to create a group that transcends borders, cultures, and artistic frameworks, SAINT SATINE is positioned to shape the "next" in the global music scene.

The member lineup is formed by the fusion of three already globally recognized talents and a newly discovered prodigy. Emily (20, USA), Lexie (21, Sweden), and Samara (20, Brazil) were first introduced in Netflix's hit documentary series 'Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE' and quickly garnered enthusiastic support worldwide. With the addition of the final member decided today, the "last piece of the puzzle" is complete, and the four-member group will make its full-fledged entry into the global market.

Through the globally watched talent discovery program 'World Scout: The Final Piece,' 16-year-old Sakura, who challenged the audition with no prior experience in singing or dancing, was selected from over 14,000 applicants to secure the final spot.

Demonstrating innate discipline and rapid growth, she brilliantly won her place at the high-pressure live finale held at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, joining the group as the "final piece."
