At Hyatt Regency Yokohama (General Manager: Takashi Saito, Location: 280-2 Yamashitacho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa), we will be offering the "Melon Afternoon Tea," where you can luxuriously taste seasonal melons, and three types of limited-time cocktails using seasonal fruits that announce the early arrival of summer, starting from Friday, May 1, 2026.

Melon Afternoon Tea

We will be offering the "Melon Afternoon Tea" for a limited time from Friday, May 1 to Tuesday, June 30, 2026. This afternoon tea lavishly uses melon, characterized by its juicy texture, soft flesh, and refreshing sweetness, and is unified with a visually cool green color palette to express the freshness and cool feeling of early summer.

For the welcome drink, we have prepared "MELON COCO". The mellow aroma of melon and the gentle sweetness of coconut overlap to create a tropical flavor reminiscent of a southern island. By combining red flesh melon puree and green flesh melon syrup to bring out the rich flavor of each, and adding non-alcoholic sparkling wine, you can enjoy the lightness and the accent of elegant bubbles. With one sip, the gentle aroma of melon softly passes through your nose, spreading a refreshing and pleasant afterglow that makes you feel the arrival of early summer, heightening your expectations for the afternoon tea that is about to begin.

While valuing the fresh taste, there are a total of 8 types of sweets carefully designed to maximize the charm of melon.

The "Melon and Loquat Parfait," with its beautiful contrast of green and white, is the most refreshing glass dessert in this lineup, layering juicy melon flesh and mint-flavored soup over almond tofu. With honey jelly added as an accent, you can enjoy it while adjusting the sweetness to your liking.

The "Melon and Yogurt Mousse" uses "Opalys," a French Valrhona white chocolate characterized by its clean sweetness, carefully expressing the color and flavor of melon. Concentrated melon juice is hidden inside and finished in a mousse style. The inside has a two-layer structure of yogurt and framboise, bringing out the sweetness of the melon even more by adding a moderate acidity. For the bottom layer, a basil biscuit is added as a refreshing aromatic accent. The softly spreading basil
