I realized that serving is also tough. I was able to reconfirm how much the serving side cares for the customers. I really felt the care, or rather, the passion for entertaining customers and providing service. (When I played a server) I felt like the suit naturally made me stand up straight, and I think I can give myself a pat on the back for that.

Q. If you were to work as a Hyatt hotel staff member, what kind of job would you like to try?

I'd like to try being a bartender again. The bartender who taught me even said, "You might have a knack for it," so I want to give it my best shot. There are also drinks with smoke coming out, and I really want to see the moment customers are surprised by that right in front of me. Things like how to use a snap, pouring with one hand, and adjusting the angle so the label faces the customer... I thought it was amazing. For us, in dance, when the positions are precise, there might be a 0.25 (position specification). It felt like that. I felt there were some overlapping parts. I was truly surprised by how thorough everything was, and I probably only learned a small part of it, so I really want to see the actual work environment where people are seriously working.

Q. What do you want to challenge with Number_i?

I definitely want to travel more with the team, and I want to go to so many places that everyone's passports are completely filled with stamps. Both for work and private life.

Q. What is your recommended menu at "Andaz Tokyo"?

It's the Pepper Steak at "The Tavern." The soft meat and sauce match incredibly well, and the pepper further enhances the deliciousness of the meat. It was a dish that truly felt like a reward and provided great satisfaction, and I really loved eating it with mashed potatoes.
