Hyatt Regency Kyoto: Second Solo Exhibition by Artist tiki, 'Treasure Box in the Sky with Dancing Cherry Blossoms' ~Future Begins Here~

Hyatt Regency Kyoto (Location: 644-2 Sanjusangendo-mawari, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto; General Manager: Timothy O'Driscoll) will host a solo exhibition by contemporary artist tiki, titled 'Treasure Box in the Sky with Dancing Cherry Blossoms' ~Future Begins Here~, from Friday, April 17, 2026, to Monday, May 4, as part of its cultural and artistic support activities.

This exhibition is the second in a series, following a solo exhibition held at our hotel in August 2025. It expresses tiki's worldview through cherry blossom-themed works, centered on new beginnings and hope for the future. The exhibition will feature new works incorporating colors reminiscent of Kyoto's spring, including two-dimensional works, three-dimensional works, and original goods. As with the previous exhibition, a portion of the sales will be donated as art supplies to children in Kyoto City.

This exhibition, held in the Wedding Salon on the hotel lobby floor, is open free of charge to all, including overnight guests, restaurant patrons, and those visiting the vicinity for Kyoto sightseeing or art appreciation.

Name: 'Treasure Box in the Sky with Dancing Cherry Blossoms' ~Future Begins Here~

Exhibition Concept: Amidst the dancing cherry blossoms announcing the arrival of a new season, artist tiki's 'empty treasure box' (sora no takarabako) carries new stories for children. The 'empty treasure box' held by the children in tiki's works symbolizes 'future possibilities' that can be colored in any way and freely chosen. Just as cherry blossoms dancing in the sky bless a new step, the exhibition expresses the moment children fill their life's treasure box with their own will, overlapping it with the spring scenery.
