Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya Hosts 3rd 'The Record H Bar' Event, Celebrating Shibuya's Listening Bar Culture

Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya (Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Hanae Yano) is pleased to announce the 3rd installment of 'The Record H Bar,' an event held at the hotel's 'H Bar' that allows guests to experience music culture through vinyl records. This initiative focuses on the long-cherished Japanese culture of jazz cafes and record bars, bringing the experience of quietly enjoying music into a modern hotel setting. Following positive feedback from previous events, we are excited to host it once again.

Shibuya is home to numerous listening bars, where a culture of deeply appreciating vinyl records is firmly rooted. People from all over the world gather here, making it a symbolic part of the city's culture. This event allows guests to savor that listening bar culture within the hotel space located in the heart of Shibuya.

Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya aims to create opportunities for guests to naturally feel the charm of the city during their stay, while respecting the local cultural background.

We have invited Mr. Moriya, owner of the popular local record shop 'The Record Rack,' to serve as the selector. He will play carefully curated records using high-quality audio equipment. Guests can spend time engaging with music in a quiet space and feel the diverse culture of Shibuya. Some of the records played on the day will be available for purchase on-site.
