Moco Lima Hawaii’s concept is 'a bag shop floating on the ocean.'

The bags and apparel born from a studio overlooking the Hawaiian sea are infused with the designer MOCO’s daily encounters with Hawaii’s nature—light, wind, flowers, the ocean, and the gentle flow of time.

The brand is led by MOCO, an owner and designer based in Hawaii, who personally draws original designs inspired by the colors of the Hawaiian sky, the vividness of fish swimming in coral reefs, flowers swaying in the breeze, and the gradients of sunset—scenes that have truly moved her heart.

From these designs, original fabrics are produced and used to create bags, pouches, T-shirts, pants, accessories, and more—items that bring Hawaii’s brightness and color into everyday life.

Each piece features unique pattern placements and material expressions, making every item one-of-a-kind—a signature charm of Moco Lima Hawaii.

At this Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi pop-up, in addition to popular items showcasing the vibrant colors of Hawaiian nature, a special model commemorating the event—the 'Nihonbashi Tote'—will also be unveiled.

The 'Nihonbashi Tote' is a special one-of-a-kind piece crafted by transforming a kimono obi into a bag and pairing it with a necklace made of Tahitian pearls carefully selected in Hawaii. It symbolizes this pop-up, where traditional Japanese beauty meets Hawaiian sensibility. The pearl necklace, included as a bag accessory, can also be worn separately.
