Hue-ish Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Saya Kambara) is participating in "April Dream, April 1st is Dream Day." This press release is Hue-ish Inc.'s April Dream.
Corporate training investment amounts to hundreds of billions of yen annually. But the reality is "not used in the field."
Japanese companies spend approximately 32,000 yen per person annually on education and training, totaling about 500 billion yen per year (Sanro Research Institute "2024 Education and Training Cost Survey"). However, the rate at which knowledge and skills learned in training are actually applied in business—the so-called "transfer rate"—remains at a mere 10-20% (Brinkerhoff, 2006).
In other words, over 80% of the investment in training does not reach the workplace.
This issue is particularly serious not in knowledge-intensive training like leadership training, but in training aimed at fostering a change in mindset. While post-training surveys show high satisfaction, there is no way to measure "how much behavior has changed in the workplace." HR personnel find it difficult to report anything beyond "we conducted the training," and they struggle daily to explain the return on investment to management.
Are you experiencing these challenges?
⚫︎ High evaluations in post-training surveys. But three months later, when asked "What has changed?", participants cannot clearly answer.
⚫︎ Management asks for "proof of ROI for training," but there is no quantitative data.
⚫︎ Participants say "it was good training," but their supervisors in the field say "I don't feel any particular change."
⚫︎ We want to follow up after training, but lack the mechanisms and resources, so it ends up being "done and forgotten."
These are not problems with the training itself. The fundamental cause is the absence of a mechanism to bring learning back to the workplace and solidify it.
Our Dream — To create a world where "learning continues to live in the workplace."
Hue-ish is a company whose mission is to "deliver places and opportunities for people who lead change to let go, learn from each other, and practice."
In an era of increasing uncertainty, leaders responsible for change are required to re-examine past successes and conventional wisdom, and to relearn. We aim to foster a social environment that allows for trial and error, enabling individuals to let go of assumptions and create the future based on their own questions.
Within this context, we had a dream. That is—
To eliminate "training and done," and create a world where learning continues to breathe in the workplace.
The value of training should be questioned not within the classroom, but after participants return to the workplace. Instead of struggling alone to "apply what was learned," individuals learn from peers and grow through mutual feedback. Transforming through dialogue and practice—this chain reaction will create a new culture of innovation within organizations.
Believing this, we are developing "TRANSFER."
What is "TRANSFER"? — Scientifically solidifying learning with peer feedback x AI.
TRANSFER is a platform that visualizes post-training learning through peer feedback and supports continuous growth.
There is a concept called "transfer." It refers to the ability to apply (Transfer) knowledge and skills learned in training to actual work. The name TRANSFER is derived from this "transfer of learning."
TRANSFER Details
3 Features
1. Peer Feedback × AI Evaluation
In monthly online sessions, participants give each other feedback. AI evaluates the quality of this feedback from multiple perspectives and provides "feedback on feedback." This is a unique approach to measuring learning retention through the ability to give feedback to others.
2. Visualization of Retention Level
Retention levels are visualized on a 5-point scale across two axes: "behavioral retention" and "learning transfer." Through a 3-6 month practice cycle, the growth of each participant can be tracked with data. HR personnel can quantitatively report the effectiveness of training investments to management.
3. Continuous Cycle of Practice and Reflection
Participants set their own workplace challenges as "My Projects" and repeat the cycle of practice → recording → feedback → reflection monthly. Training transforms from a "one-time event" into a mechanism for continuous learning in the workplace.
What TRANSFER Changes
By implementing TRANSFER, the "feeling of having done training" transforms into "quantitative results," allowing the effectiveness of training to be discussed with "data" instead of "intuition."

From "Training and Done" to "A Continuously Learning Organization"
Invest 1 million yen in training, and 800,000 yen disappears—we want to change this structure.
Our dream is a world where what is learned continues to live in the workplace, and a chain of feedback transforms organizational culture. The change in one leader spreads to the team, the organization, and society. TRANSFER aims to be the platform that supports this first step.
Currently, we are jointly developing the beta version with a company that provides leadership training programs for major corporations, and we plan to start offering the beta version this fiscal year.
