This exclusive footage, available on Hublot and Anil B's YouTube channels, offers a unique, immersive experience that uncovers the origins of time through the fusion of ancient history, watchmaking innovation, and pioneering exploration.

Since 2014, the Hublot Exploration department has joined missions to Antikythera Island for over two weeks annually, playing a crucial technical role within the archaeological diving team. This innovative division, specializing in the research and development of advanced materials, is particularly responsible for designing cutting-edge underwater drones. These drones enable more accurate detection of artifacts still buried in the famous ancient shipwreck site, contributing to the preservation and study of this historical treasure under optimal conditions.

This documentary captures the Hublot Exploration team and Anil Blanca accompanying an international team of archaeologists, divers, and experts over 18 days as they explore the site where the famous Antikythera Mechanism was discovered in 1901. This unique artifact, dating back to around 60 BC, is considered the oldest known astronomical calculator. It could predict the movements of stars, solar and lunar eclipses, and other celestial phenomena with astonishing precision, demonstrating a level of technical expertise far beyond its time.

In 2012, Hublot paid tribute to this fascinating object by launching the Antikythera Watch. This horological masterpiece was designed to reproduce the complex astronomical functions of the ancient mechanism in a wristwatch format. A true technical achievement, this timepiece features intricate complications that track lunar cycles, solar and lunar eclipses, and star positions.
