[OMO7 Osaka] Introducing the 'Billiken Kinkin Shaved Ice'

OMO7 Osaka by Hoshino Resorts, an urban hotel that offers a 'Naniwa Luxury' experience, will serve the 'Billiken Kinkin Shaved Ice'—inspired by the guardian deity of the Shinsekai district—at the OMO Cafe & Bar from June 15 to August 31, 2026. This summer treat features the golden color iconic to Billiken, expressed through sweet, tart, and refreshing pineapple. Upon serving, the dish is presented under a crystal-like dome filled with smoke that spills out when opened. The shaved ice also contains a 'Billiken Omikuji,' a hidden fortune-telling jelly, designed to make guests smile, true to Billiken's cheerful expression.

This product was developed to add excitement to the 'OSAKA PIKAPIKA NIGHT Summer Festival,' a night event held during the same period with a theme of 'Summer Festival x Laughter.' The name combines 'Kinkin' (referring to extreme cold) with 'Kin' (the color gold), embodying Osaka's signature sense of fun.
