Up until now, KIMONOMACHI's washable Iromuji (lined and unlined) has been favored by many customers due to its gentle crepe-like texture, wide size range from S to LL, and the convenience of being machine-washable at home. Building on this strong track record, we decided to expand our lineup of mid-summer items to acquire new users and increase market share in the summer kimono market.
Responding to strong customer demand for thin summer kimonos that can also be washed at home, we have adopted polyester material, similar to our existing Iromuji series. This new item is launched to be worn without concern even in hot summer weather when sweating is common.
Furthermore, with the launch of the new Ro Iromuji, we have prepared two types of original "Sha" summer obi that can be beautifully coordinated. One is the completely new "Sha Hachisun Nagoya Obi," developed specifically for this occasion. The other is the addition of new colors to the popular "Sha Hanhaba Obi." Both obi feature the popular "Kenjo pattern," which is easy to match with kimonos, and are offered in three colors (navy, white x celadon, white x silver gray) to complement the Ro Iromuji.
