The second collaboration between Saori Kida and Horipro Stage, the immersive event 'A Strange Job Experience: Night School Investigator,' has now revealed full details including cast and ticket sales information. Pre-sales will begin on Wednesday, June 17 via Horipro Stage and the official LINE of Yūgure.

In this event, participants become 'investigators'—characters within the story—equipped with a flashlight to explore the school at night and uncover the truth behind various campus rumors.

Live performances unfolding before your eyes, immersive storytelling where participants become part of the narrative, and cutting-edge spatial audio technology that blurs the line between reality and fiction—these elements unite to deliver an unprecedented immersive experience.

The stage cast, who will bring the story to life in front of participants, includes eight performers: Rigo Ikeda, Ichitoku Kamejima, Haruku Sakura, Hiroto Shimada, Tsumugi Chida, Hinano Nitō, Mao, and Kōtarō Yamaura.

In addition to Saori Kida as overall scriptwriter and director, acclaimed playwright and director Naoyuki Miura (Roro) joins the project. His delicate, emotional storytelling and use of narrative space will enhance Kida’s immersive world, creating an emotionally resonant experience far beyond a simple 'nighttime school exploration.'

The new immersive event by Saori Kida and Horipro Stage is now confirmed!

Saori Kida, serving as overall scriptwriter and director, has created numerous immersive and puzzle-based experiences worldwide. As a writer, she authored the first experiential manga in Weekly Shōnen Jump's history, 'Kimini Aoi Yoru no,' and wrote and directed 'Queen’s Motel,' a theater-in-the-round experience set in an entire hotel. In October 2024, she founded Yūgure Inc., a company dedicated to immersive experiences centered on emotional resonance.

Yūgure’s 'A Strange Job Experience' series has been held at locations such as Toranomon Hills Station Tower and a private house in Nezu, attracting over 7,000 attendees and earning acclaim for its emotionally impactful design.

Horipro Stage has produced globally recognized live entertainment, including the stage play 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,' 'Death Note: The Musical,' and the Broadway musical 'Peter Pan.' The company continues to plan and produce diverse theatrical and musical works—from classics to original productions—delivering live entertainment both in Japan and abroad.

This marks the second collaboration between the two, following the immersive theater production 'RE:PLAY AFTER SCHOOL' held at the same venue in March 2025, which captivated audiences with its intense finale.

For this 'strange job experience,' investigating a night school required more than just exploration—it needed a story that moves the heart. I nervously reached out to Mr. Miura to collaborate on script and direction. Mr. Miura created the 'Itakō Series' for high school theater and directed the acclaimed youth film 'Riding on a Summer Film.' To step into his story within a real summer school setting is an incredibly luxurious experience. It’s truly amazing. Joined SCRAP Inc. in 2011. Planned and produced over 100 live escape games worldwide. Launched and served as general manager of 'Tokyo Mystery Circus,' the world’s most mysterious theme park.
