The second collaboration between Saori Kida and HoriPro Stage, the experiential event "A Slightly Strange Vocational Experience: Night School Investigator," is set to be held this August at Chiyoda Junior and Senior High School, a real school located in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. This event will offer a realistic and immersive experience, allowing participants to freely explore a real school at night, flashlight in hand.

Experience an unprecedented immersive journey at a midsummer night school. Saori Kida and HoriPro Stage announce their latest immersive event!

Serving as the overall scriptwriter and director is Saori Kida, who, after producing numerous immersive works and puzzle-solving events both domestically and internationally, including the first-ever experiential manga "Kimi to Aoi Yoru no" in Weekly Shonen Jump and writing/directing "STAYABLE THEATER QUEEN’S MOTEL" set in an entire hotel, established Yukure Inc., specializing in immersive experiences.

Yukure Inc.'s "A Slightly Strange Vocational Experience" series has been held at Toranomon Hills Station Tower and a detached house in Nezu, mobilizing over 7,000 people and receiving high acclaim for its emotionally resonant experience design.

HoriPro Stage presents various globally acclaimed live entertainment, including "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," "DEATH NOTE THE MUSICAL," and the Broadway musical "Peter Pan." They continuously plan and produce a wide range of plays and musicals, from classics to original works, providing live entertainment both domestically and internationally.

This collaboration marks the second time for the two entities, following the immersive play "RE:PLAY AFTER SCHOOL," which captivated audiences with its heated final scene at the same school in March 2025.

This event will deliver a "strange immersive experience" that can only be savored on a midsummer night, thanks to this dynamic duo.

Numerous features designed to create excitement by utilizing the "night school" setting:

1. Explore a real school freely with a flashlight! The venue for this event is Chiyoda Junior and Senior High School, a real institution in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The event makes full use of the school during summer vacation, offering a unique experience only possible within a large school building at night. Participants will walk through the dark school building at night with a flashlight, witnessing the stories of characters that appear within.

2. Real-world atmosphere created by the participation of current students! In the first performance held last year, approximately 90 current students participated as extras. It became a hot topic, with comments like "too realistic" and "nothing but authenticity from the moment I entered the school." The school's co-op will sell bread and paper-packed beverages, allowing you to enjoy a moment as if you've traveled back to your student days.

3. Like an attraction! Scenes where you can experience cutting-edge spatial audio technology! The highlight of this event is the fusion of live acting unfolding before your eyes, immersive direction, and spatial audio technology used in some scenes. The latest spatial audio "Re:Sense®" reproduces sounds like a door swinging open or someone's presence creeping up behind you. The moment you sit in a classroom seat and put on your earphones, the reality of "being in the school" and the fiction "heard through the earphones" perfectly link. Its realism is such that it's almost impossible to distinguish between "audio heard through earphones" and "real-world sounds." This creates an unprecedented immersive experience where reality and fiction intersect, filled with presence.

▼Demo audio "A Slightly Strange 1-Minute in the Toilet version" *Please enjoy using your own earphones or headphones. *Experience in your home toilet is recommended.

▼Demo audio experience video Konoha Tsukamoto, who won the Grand Prix at the "46th HoriPro Talent Scout Caravan" and is active as an "Ikegawa Girl" on NTV's "Sekai no Hate Made Itte Q!", experienced the demo audio.

What is Spatial Audio Technology Re:Sense®? <Technology that transforms what you "hear" into what you "experience"> Spatial audio is sound that expresses the arrival and distance of sounds from all 360 degrees, allowing you to experience a sense of space not found in traditional 2ch stereo. Crepscule's unique spatial audio technology "Re:Sense®" creates audio content that feels like "it's happening right here and now," faithfully reproducing the realism, texture, and presence of sounds.
