## A True Miracle Starting from a Lie!?
## Con Artist Ryoma Takeuchi Sings Gem-like Songs!

Based on the 1992 film 'Leap of Faith' starring Steve Martin, this work was turned into a musical in 2010 with the participation of top Broadway creators such as Alan Menken ('Aladdin', 'The Little Mermaid') for music and Glenn Slater ('Tangled', 'School of Rock') for lyrics, and made its way to Broadway starring Raúl Esparza. The curtain has finally risen on the highly anticipated Japan premiere.

Director Jennifer Tang skillfully utilizes a double-turntable stage set and incorporates psychological depiction while unfolding the story. The smoothly connected scene transitions are vivid, bringing the conflicts and emotions of multiple characters to the surface in overlapping layers, further enhancing the appeal of the songs.

Furthermore, Alexandra Sarmiento's choreography breathes more heat into the songs and the story, driving the energy of the entire production. It dynamically portrays the bursting liveliness of the gospel choir and the frenzy of the townspeople, powerfully delivering that excitement to the audience.

Ryoma Takeuchi made a striking musical debut in 2021. In his eagerly awaited second musical after five years, he plays a con artist posing as a charismatic evangelist. With his passionate singing voice, acting, and overwhelming presence, he draws the audience into the vortex of enthusiasm of the people attending the evangelistic rallies and hoping for a miracle.

There are also audience-participation elements where you can enjoy waving penlights, allowing the stage and the audience to become one and share the frenzy and excitement.

Will Jonas, played by Takeuchi, be able to cause a true miracle?
Don't miss the miracle that happens in the theater!

Following the Tokyo performances, this production is scheduled for a tour in Osaka, Fukuoka, and Aichi.
