Musical 'Mary Poppins' Japan Production Achieves 200th Performance! Tokyo Run Ongoing Until May 9th [Shibuya, Tokyu Theatre Orb]

The musical 'Mary Poppins,' loved worldwide and captivating a wide range of audiences from families to musical fans, has reached its commemorative 200th "Supercalifragilistic" performance by the Japan production. A commemorative photo session was held with the company backstage after the performance, and comments have arrived from cast members Rena Sasamoto as Mary and Ryunosuke Onoda as Bert, who appeared in the 200th performance. The Tokyo run is playing at Tokyu Theatre Orb until Saturday, May 9th, and will subsequently move to the Umeda Arts Theater Main Hall in Osaka from Thursday, May 21st to Saturday, June 6th. ## Japan Production Achieves Commemorative 200th Performance! Since its premiere in 2018, the musical 'Mary Poppins' has enchanted many audiences. It continues to be highly acclaimed as a stage that overflows with surprise and emotion, only possible in live musicals, featuring beloved songs, magical stage sets, dynamic dances, and large-scale ensemble scenes that utilize the entire stage. This is the third production in Japan. Following preview performances, the show achieved its 200th cumulative performance on Wednesday, April 2nd, at 13:00.
