They aim to build an 'offensive and defensive AI governance' system that timely incorporates AI technology while maintaining and improving service quality, and thoroughly enforcing governance and compliance.
Based on this understanding, KPMG Consulting supported the advancement of AI governance by formulating AI lifecycle management processes and establishing regulations, covering the entire lifecycle from planning and consideration of generative AI-powered services to their release, inventory, and discontinuation. In providing this support, emphasis was placed on not excessively restricting the speed of AI utilization and on-site ingenuity, maximizing the use of Mizuho Financial Group's accumulated risk management framework, and building effective and flexible AI governance while respecting on-site autonomy. Furthermore, by leveraging KPMG's domestic and international network, timely insights on regulatory trends and advanced case studies were provided, supporting the deepening of discussions and efficiency of decision-making.
