KPMG Consulting Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Directors: Jo Seki, Atsushi Taguchi, Masahiko Chino; hereinafter, 'KPMG Consulting') conducted special cybersecurity classes (hereinafter, 'these special classes') focusing on familiar internet risks and precautions regarding the use of generative AI. In line with 'International Cyber Security Awareness Month,' a global awareness campaign promoting the importance of cybersecurity, KPMG conducts 'KPMG Global Cyber Day' as a global initiative. Through this initiative, cybersecurity professionals from KPMG member firms worldwide collaborate to provide special cybersecurity classes for elementary, junior high, and high school students and their guardians in various countries and regions.

KPMG Consulting, in collaboration with KPMG member firms in Japan, has continuously offered these special classes since 2018, with over 4,000 elementary, junior high, and high school students and guardians participating cumulatively. The class content is developed through prior discussions with schools, flexibly incorporating timely topics such as troubles encountered via the internet and the highly relevant generative AI.

This time, from June 2025 to February 2026, in collaboration with cybersecurity professionals from Azusa Audit Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), KPMG FAS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), and KPMG Forensic & Risk Advisory Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), special classes were held at 5 elementary, junior high, and high schools in Tokyo. These classes focused on themes such as crimes and scams lurking on the internet, online communication including SNS, and precautions for utilizing generative AI. During this period, over 760 elementary, junior high, and high school students and guardians participated.

Based on its 'Our Impact Plan,' KPMG Consulting will continue to plan and implement various social contribution programs, advancing both the provision of consulting services and the civic engagement activities of each employee.
